We enjoy working collaboratively with our patients’ other providers. This means that we never disparage the care patients have received elsewhere, conventional or not. We do not recommend patients discontinue prescribed medications without consulting their prescribing provider. We make referrals to specialists and allied healthcare providers when medically necessary. And we are always happy to discuss a patients’ care.
Safety is our first priority. All of our providers are licensed in their area of practice and carry standard malpractice insurance policies. They all receive extensive continuing education to stay current in integrative and conventional medical therapies. Our providers
are thoroughly trained in the evidence-based use of dietary supplements, including drug-nutrient and drug-herb interactions. We recommend patients source high quality dietary supplements from GMP-compliant manufacturers to avoid quality-related concerns.
We are happy to consult. Our naturopathic doctors regularly consult with local and national medical providers, institutions, corporations, and government agencies on safe use of integrative medical therapies, evidence-based integrative care, and dietary supplement safety.
